Our little My Diem Danh

I wanted to introduce those that read my blog to our second sponsored child, My Diem Danh.  My lives in Vietnam and was born on February 13, 2008, one day before my wife and I celebrated our 4 year anniversary.  

My is the youngest of 2 children.  Both of her parents work to support the family but they make very little, so the family lives in a boarding house and Holt International has offered to pay for daycare for My for a year so the family can save on childcare expenses and hopefully save to provide a better living condition for the family.

My is generally healthy with no medical concerns at this time. She eats and sleeps well and has a full set of teeth.  She is able to balance on her tiptoes momentarily, is walking and running more smoothly, and can ride a tricycle.  She can also feed herself and carry things to her mom when asked.  She understands most directions well and can sing some short children songs.

Please pray for My Diem Danh and for her family, and that the assistance Holt is providing will enable them to keep their family together.
